πŸ“° What's Poppin

I tuned into Meta Connect last night and about twenty minutes in I stopped taking notes on the products.

Because I noticed a pattern.

Every single thing they showed was a place to put Muse (We talked about Muse last week).

The glasses? A place to put Muse. Say "Hey" plus whatever you named yours and it talks back in full voice mode, in the coming weeks, free.

The Mac app? Now drives any app on your computer for you. A place to put Muse. What I'm excited about is the VR glasses because even those come with the agent built into the operating system.

Where most got caught up in the product (the glasses, the charm, and the app), I notice that they truly just announce, β€œThe agent is going wherever you are.” They are putting it everywhere.

However, the products are pretty impressive. Let me give you the rundown:
πŸ”Ή Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, $449, out today. 3K video, 9 hour battery, six mics, and Dolby Atmos spatial audio capture coming soon. Aviators for the first time. If you record your life, this is the pair.

πŸ”Ή Ray-Ban Meta Audio, $349, ships Oct 13. No camera, 12 hours of battery, Clubmasters. For my introverts who want the agent in their ear and no light on their face.

πŸ”Ή Meta VR Glasses, $1,299, spring 2027. 100 grams, three floating monitors, private cinema. "You could edit a whole movie just using the table." The dream, six months out.

πŸ”Ή Meta Ray-Ban Display, $799, finally in stock and international. Wait unless you have a reason.

πŸ”Ή Hearing enhancement, $149. FDA cleared over the counter hearing aid built into the glasses. Not a creator feature. Might be the most important thing they shipped.

But here's the shift I had to make watching this: for ten years, making content meant stopping your life to point something at it. Pull out the phone. Set up the light. Do it again because the audio was bad.

Every product last night was about not stopping.

Record without stopping. Ask without stopping. Edit on a plane without anybody knowing you're working.

Not a better camera. Not a better app. A creator who never has to leave the moment to capture it.

That's the lane.

I love my Meta glasses, and I may even grab a new pair. And I'm going to be honest: that VR one, I'm definitely getting. What are your thoughts on Meta's announcement? Email me back your feedback.

Claude built a mall πŸ‘€

The Claude Marketplace dropped Wednesday. One page, three sections:

Plugins & Connectors (2,000 plus: Notion, Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Salesforce), Agents & Products (Gamma, Lovable, Base44, Vercel, Cursor), and Service Partners (Accenture, BCG, Deloitte).

The plugins and connectors column is the one that matters. Because it's the same question as Muse: what are you willing to let Claude see?

πŸ”Ή Start with the Marketing plugin. Brand voice and style guide set once, every draft checked against it. This is the closest thing to the voice system I run for myself.

πŸ”Ή Then connect Notion or Google Drive so it can read your actual content library instead of guessing what you've already said.

πŸ”Ή Gamma if you make slides or one pagers. Transcript in, deck out.

πŸ”Ή Lovable or Base44 if you actually have an app to build. My World Builder app runs on a stack like this. Don't build one because a marketplace exists.

πŸ”Ή Canva and Figma for the thumbnail and carousel reps.

Back in March I built four AI teams with Claude plugins. Back then you had to know plugins existed and go hunting. Now there's a front door. That's the difference between a tool for nerds and a tool for your cousin.

Two caveats. Most connectors need a paid plan. And every connector is another app reading your stuff. Connect the content, not the bank. Same rule, both companies, same week.

Are you going to check it out?
