📰 What's Poppin
Did you try Meta's new AI Tool: Muse
I tapped one line in Muse's Ideas tab: "I can name the reel series worth doubling down on."
A couple minutes later it handed me a 90-day scoreboard of every reel I'd posted, sorted by series.
Keep: creator teardowns, tool stacks, AI workflows, tutorials.
Keep but be selective: my commentary posts. Steady, lowest of the four.
Retire: lifestyle, memes, announcements, event clips.
And I’m not going to lie, the teardown line got me. We used to break down creators and personal brands on my old podcast years ago. I did one on a whim this summer and it went crazy. The data knew before I did. Then it wrote me a four-week posting calendar with a post for every day, hooks included.
Now, can I be honest? I’ve paid for tools that don’t do this. This came from a free app that Meta shipped a week ago, reading my real Instagram data because it connects straight to it. So here’s exactly how to get yours.
🖥️ The Series Verdict
🔹 Step 1: Get Muse and lock the settings. iOS, Android or muse.ai. Settings, Data Controls: turn off “help improve our AI models.” Permissions: “always ask.” Two taps, do them first.
🔹 Step 2: Connect Instagram, Threads and Facebook. Settings, Connectors, link them through your Accounts Center. That’s it. Don’t connect contacts, don’t connect your bank. It’ll ask. Say no for now.
🔹 Step 3: Run the ask prompt so it knows what it’s working with. Paste: “Based off all the apps that I’ve connected to you, what are some of the things that we could build together that makes the most sense for me?” Read the menu it gives you back.
🔹 Step 4: Go to the Ideas tab and find the reels line. It’ll read something like “I can name the reel series worth doubling down on.” Tap it. If you don’t see it, type: “Pull my last 90 days of reels, group them by series, and give me a series verdict document plus a four-week posting calendar.”
🔹 Step 5: Read the verdict in two passes. First pass: what did it tell me to keep? That’s your lane. Second pass: what did it tell me to retire, and do I agree? Mine said retire event clips, except Content Corner Live clips. It made the exception on its own because those numbers were different.
🔹 Step 6: Schedule the weekly report so this updates itself. Type: “Build a weekly content report for Instagram and schedule it for every Monday morning.” Now the verdict gets checked against real numbers every week instead of once.
The cadence it gave me
Here’s what my four weeks look like, and this is the strategy part:
- Monday: a 45-second clip from that night’s Content Corner Live, with its own hook, full episode in bio
- Tuesday: one creator teardown with a named framework. My only proven 10x format, so it’s a weekly series now, not a one-off
- Wednesday: one AI workflow post. First one is how ChatGPT Work replaced three tools in my setup
- Thursday: one tool post off whatever dropped that week. Higgsfield had a new model, so that’s the first one
One live feeds the whole week. Nothing new to invent. That’s the point.
I can show you better I can tell you: Watch how I did this by clicking here
Run yours and email me back which series it told you to retire. I'm curious if it's the same for everybody.
