πŸ“° What's Poppin

Sean Cannell pulled up one of my videos on the Think Media Podcast and read the title back to me.

"Why Introverts Make The Best Content Creators (Nobody Talks About This)." Nine minutes. 141,000 views.

On a channel that's mostly AI tools and tech.

Then he asked me why it broke out.

And I had to be honest with him. It was around the holidays. We didn't know what else to make. So we found a common theme in podcasts I had already done, pulled every clip where I talked about introverts, and stitched them into one story.

No new idea. No new shoot. We didn't even think it would go that crazy.

And I think that's where a lot of us get stuck. We believe every video has to be a brand new idea. New idea, new idea, okay, turn on the camera. And when the idea well runs dry, we call it creative block and we disappear for two weeks.

Meanwhile, there are hours of us already on tape saying the thing people need to hear.

Here's what I realized: sometimes you don't need a new idea. You need to look back.

Two things made that video work.

One, the theme. There's a want for creator identity right now. The common belief is that to make good videos you have to be an extrovert, always on, ready to go. I flipped it. The camera is just you and the camera. No crowd. That made a lot of people feel seen. Sean called it a double identity: introvert is an identity, content creator is an identity, and I paired them.

Two, the repurposing. Sean said it best. We think of repurposing as squeezing a little extra juice out of something. This was the main juice.

Now, I'm not going to pretend this works on everything. Stitching clips only works if the clips were good the first time. Theme Mining won't save weak footage. But if you've been showing up for a while, you're sitting on more than you think. Let me break it down:

πŸ–₯️ Theme Mining

πŸ”Ή Step 1: Pull your archive. Lives, interviews, podcasts, old long-form. Get the transcripts. Most of us have months of material we said once and never touched again.

πŸ”Ή Step 2: Find what you keep coming back to. Have AI scan the transcripts for anything you’ve talked about three or more times. Did you talk about one tool five different ways across your lives? That’s its own video. Two interviews on the same topic? Put them back to back and you’ve got two perspectives on one idea.

πŸ”Ή Step 3: Pair two identities. Introvert plus creator. Working mom plus YouTuber. Pastor plus podcaster. The contrast is the hook, especially when it goes against what people assume (β€œnobody talks about this”).

πŸ”Ή Step 4: Package it with a formula. My best tool videos follow one: one tool, one outcome, and how long it takes, all under 70 characters. Find your own formula and reuse it. Fewer choices, more clicks.

πŸ”Ή Step 5: Feed the breakout. If one of these hits, make the follow-up within two weeks and add the theme to your content pillars. A breakout is your audience telling you who they are.

Copy and paste this with your transcripts:

Here are transcripts from my last [number] lives, interviews, or videos. Find every theme I’ve talked about three or more times. For each theme, list the moments with timestamps, the identity it speaks to, and three title options that pair two identities. Rank them by which would make someone say β€œthat’s me.”

You don’t always need a new idea. Sometimes you need to look back at what you already said.

πŸŒ† AI Alley

Now Claude has one too. It's called Claude Duet.

Three weeks ago I told y'all about OpenAI's dots. Before that, Meta's Muse. This week Anthropic dropped theirs: Claude Duet, a personal assistant agent that keeps working in the background while you're doing literally anything else.

Here it is in plain English. It checks your connected apps on its own, sends you a morning brief of your email and calendar, drafts replies for you to review, and follows up on threads that went quiet. For bigger jobs, it hands you real files back. Research briefs, slide decks, dashboards. It runs on Claude Opus 5.5, and it carries over the memory, skills, and connected apps you already set up in Claude.

And it asks you first before it sends a message, makes a payment, signs anything, or deletes anything. That part matters.

So what are creators and entrepreneurs actually using these assistant agents for? Here's what I found across dots, Muse, and now Duet:

πŸ”Ή The morning brief. What came in overnight, what's urgent, what's waiting on you. This is the one people keep saying gave them their attention back.

πŸ”Ή Transcript to content. One creator hands their dot a raw transcript and gets back clips, show notes, and social drafts while they're still on the shoot.

πŸ”Ή Money they forgot about. An early tester's dot found a forgotten invoice, prepped it, and only sent it after approval.

πŸ”Ή Inbox and brand deal follow-ups. The quiet thread you meant to answer two weeks ago.

πŸ”Ή Launch admin. Updating the proposal or the launch page when the scope changes. The stuff you'd normally hand a VA.

Now, can I be honest? This is a research preview. It's US only, Pro and Max plans only, and the waitlist goes out in waves, so signing up today doesn't mean you're in tomorrow.

Now remember: an assistant is only as good as the system you hand it.

So what's the first thing you'd hand off? Reply and tell me.
