π° What's Poppin
I asked my AI chief of staff, aka Claude Duet, what my next YouTube video should be.
It went into my YouTube Studio, pulled 90 days of my numbers, and came back with an answer I didn't want to hear.
My slump wasn't the algorithm. It was reach.
My Muse and dots videos each got about 45K impressions, with an 8.5% and 6.5% click rate. My last three? 9K to 11K impressions, at 3.1% to 5.4%.
Then it showed me why. The winners had a big product name, me in the cap holding the logo, and a small tag. The recent ones had statement text. Same creator. Different packaging. Different results.
And it told me I lose 40 to 50% of people by about 45 seconds... on every video. So skip the setup and show the result first.
That's Claude Duet.
Last week in AI Alley I told y'all it dropped. This week I actually put it to work on my real business.
Here it is in plain English: Claude Duet is Anthropic's new app that messages you first. It sends a morning brief of what matters, checks in through the day, and keeps working after you put your phone down. It works with the apps you connect, drafts things for you to review, and hands you real files back.
And before it sends, pays, or books anything? It asks you first.
Meta has Muse. ChatGPT has dots. Now Claude has Duet. And of the three, this is the one that feels the most like a chief of staff.
Now, can I be honest? It's not magic, and it's not for everybody yet.
It's a research preview. US only, Pro and Max plans only, and the waitlist goes out in waves. And it has limits. I asked it to organize my workshop footage in Google Drive and it hit a file-size wall.
And the big one: AI video. I tried making my Higgsfield videos through Duet, and it was a real fail.
You can't preview a clip and fix it right there in the chat. It actually took me longer than doing it myself.
So here's how I split it now. Duet does the thinking: concepts, scripts, shot lists, the prompts I paste in. Higgsfield does the making, where I can watch it and adjust.
Duet runs the business. I still make the art.
But the stuff that keeps me from creating? The emails, the follow-ups, the planning, the "I'll get to it later" pile? That's where it earned its keep.
Here's what it did for me in one day. Let me break it down:
π₯οΈ Your First 5 Hand-Offs
The rule from dots still stands: you don't need a perfect prompt. You need a destination, a little context, and a next turn.
πΉ Hand-off 1: Plan your next video from your real numbers.
"Look at my last 90 days of YouTube analytics. Compare my best videos with my last three: impressions, click rate, and where people drop off. Tell me what changed and what my next video should be."
This is how I picked this week's video. Not a guess. Receipts.
πΉ Hand-off 2: Brand deal replies in your voice.
"Draft a reply to [brand]'s email in my voice. Keep it short, confirm what I'm agreeing to, and show me before you send."
It drafted mine, I read it, I said yes, it sent. That's the order.
πΉ Hand-off 3: Dig the details out of a long thread.
"Find the email thread about [the gig or deal]. Pull out the dates, what they're asking for, what I agreed to, and what I still need to answer. Then draft my follow-up."
No more scrolling through 30 replies looking for one date.
πΉ Hand-off 4: Travel without the 12 open tabs.
"Find flights to [city] for [dates] that get me there by [time]. Give me the best three and stop before you pay."
It found my flights to Detroit for Creator Con and stopped for my yes on the total before booking anything. That's the moment I trusted it.
πΉ Hand-off 5: Let it remember so you don't.
"Remind me Thursday if [person] hasn't replied, and keep an eye out for their answer."
That's the follow-up you always mean to send and never do.
And here's the part I love: you don't have to add a safety line like we did with dots. Duet asks first on its own. Let it draft. You still ship.
Can it run my whole content business? No.
Can it run the stuff that keeps me from creating? Low-key... yes.
I break all of this down on screen in this week's video, so if you're more of a visual person, click here.
So which one are you handing off first? Email me back. I read every one.
π AI Alley
Talking about Claude, they came out with new artifacts that are now going to be your legal team.
Here's what that means: Anthropic dropped a gallery of ready-to-use legal artifacts inside Claude. Think interactive trackers and dashboards you plug your own info into and share with your team or clients.
What it comes with:
πΉ Contract checks: compare contracts to your standard terms and flag what's off, or line up terms like non-competes side by side.
πΉ Cite check: catches wrong quotes, wrong page numbers, and claims your sources don't back up.
πΉ Matter board: turns emails and spreadsheets into one board of open matters with owners, next steps, and deadlines.
πΉ Partner-built tools from Harvey, PwC, Goodwin, and Foley & Lardner, plus access-to-justice tools like a rent ledger reviewer and an immigration papers reader.
Every output links back to its source. Claude does the first pass. A lawyer still makes the call. Here is the full legal team: click hereβ
