π° What's Poppin
OpenAI announced dots this week.
Here's dots in plain English: your dot is an always-on agent inside ChatGPT. It gets its own cloud computer and its own browser. You give it a goal, and it keeps working toward that goal between your conversations, then brings the work back for you to review.
Not a chatbot you have to restart. Not another app to babysit. A right hand that remembers what you were working on.
In the keynote demo, somebody named their dot Alfred. And the line that stuck with me wasn't about code or speed.
One person said it reviews what came in overnight and pings her in the morning with anything urgent... and that she finally got some of her attention back.
That's the part creators should be paying attention to.
Back on Sep 7 I told y'all you did not need to learn GPT-6 this week. I stand by that. But dots runs on GPT-6 Astra, and this is the first thing built on it that I think actually changes how a creator works.
Because think about it. Most of us use AI like a really good intern who forgets everything the second we close out. One prompt. One answer. Gone.
A dot is built to keep going.
Now, can I be honest? It is not for everybody yet.
It's rolling out on Pro, which is $200 a month, and Business Premium. If you're on Plus, you're watching from the sidelines for now. Your first dot is included, and talking to it doesn't eat into your usage, but extra dots and heavier workloads will cost more later. And the early reviews say what you'd expect from something this new: it can do real work, and it can also be buggy. One reviewer said wait a week or two unless you love rough edges.
So no, I'm not telling you to upgrade today.
I'm telling you to get ready. Because the creators who win with this won't be the ones with the best prompt. They'll be the ones who already know what they want handed off.
So I built you a field guide. 16 conversations for creators, brand builders, and small-business owners. Here are the three I'd start with.
π₯οΈ The Right-Hand Setup
The rule: you donβt need a perfect prompt. You need a destination, a little context, and a next turn.
πΉ Conversation 1: Give your ideas a home.
βUse Notion to help me organize these content ideas: [PASTE IDEAS]. Put them under [PAGE LINK], grouped by pillar, and flag the three I should make first.β
Your ideas stop living in your Notes app, your DMs, and the back of a receipt.
πΉ Conversation 2: Let your audience pick the next post.
βIβve got these audience comments: [PASTE OR ATTACH]. Find the patterns, show me the exact comments behind each one, and give me three content angles to review.β
You stop guessing what to post. Your comments already told you.
πΉ Conversation 3: Make room to create.
βLook at my Google Calendar for [WEEK] in [TIMEZONE]. Find two blocks to create, plan around whatβs already there, and show me before adding anything.β
Consistency isnβt motivation. Itβs an appointment.
πΉ The one line you add to all three:
βAsk me before sending, publishing, spending, or sharing anything private.β
Let it draft. You still ship.
Run one conversation this week. Not three. One. Then give it a useful next turn: βShorten this, make it sound more like me, and show me the revised version.β
All 16 conversations are in the playbook: Click hereβ
So which one are you handing off first?
π AI Alley
Sign in with ChatGPT.
This one got buried under dots, but pay attention.
You can now log into partner tools with your ChatGPT account and use your existing ChatGPT plan allowance inside them. 16 partners at launch, including Notion, Vercel, and Devin.
Why that matters for us: we are all paying for six subscriptions that each want $20 a month. This is the first sign that your one AI subscription could start covering other tools.
Now, it's early. 16 partners is not your whole stack, and the best support is on Plus and Pro. But next time a tool asks you to sign up, look for that button before you pull out your card.
π£οΈ See Me Live
Here are the next spots that I'll be speaking at. Hopefully, I see you at one.
November 6-8 Puerto Rico - LB Club Lock-In (only for LB Club Members)β
November 13-15 Detroit - Creator Con Click hereβ
So you already know you have to email me back about your biggest takeaway from this week's Content Corner. Take a screenshot and tag me in your stories (or Threads/Substack) so I know you liked this week's content. If not, I'll see you next Friday. Same time, same corner.
I'll Holla,
Nicky S
