📰 What's Poppin

How many pieces of content did you make last week?

Now the real question… how many separate times did you have to sit down, set up, and perform to make them?

If those two numbers are basically the same, this email is for you.

I used to record everything separately. A long form here. Three shorts there. Captions from scratch. Four to five hours of production a day on top of actually running a business. You may remember when I wrote about my one-take method back in January… that was the beginning of the fix.

This week, on my birthday live, I showed the receipts of what that system looks like all grown up. I’m not creating separate long forms anymore. I’m barely creating separate shorts. One Monday night live, and everything else gets cut from it.

And the unlock wasn’t a new tool. It was a decision: no piece of content gets made for just one moment. It lasts a season, or I don’t make it.

Let me walk you through the pipeline, step by step:

🖥️ The One-Take Pipeline, 2026 Edition

  • 🔹 Step 1: One recording session a week. Mine is Content Corner Live on Monday nights. Yours can be a long form, a podcast, a workshop… anything where you talk for 30+ minutes about what you know.
  • 🔹 Step 2: Export the audio. Open the recording in QuickTime, hit export as audio only. Then hand it to Claude or ChatGPT to transcribe. Audio is faster to process, and the transcript is what AI actually works from.
  • 🔹 Step 3: Have AI sort the footage. Prompt: based on this transcript, tell me what’s good for shorts and what’s good for long form. Shorts go to IG and YouTube Shorts. I even run a separate test page bc some clips flop on my main and pop elsewhere… let data decide, not feelings.
  • 🔹 Step 4: Route the long form. Segments on AI tools and creator identity go to my main channel. Then those same videos go to Spotify, bc Spotify monetizes video now and it’s a whole audience that listens instead of watches. The good-but-off-brand clips feed a second channel.
  • 🔹 Step 5: The written layer. The best perspective clip gets posted to Substack with the video and a writeup. Same transcript feeds the carousel workflow for images. One recording: video, audio, written, visual.

And I have to keep it a buck with you: this only works if the recording is worth cutting. A boring live makes boring singles. The system multiplies quality… it doesn’t create it. Bring your best 30 minutes and let the machine handle the other 30 hours.

I show the whole workflow on screen in the replay on my YouTube click here if you're more visual.

So what's your version of the Monday live... the ONE thing you could record weekly that everything else cuts from? Email me back and tell me.

🌆 AI Alley

Speaking of talking instead of typing... y'all know Wispr Flow is one of my favorite AI tools. It's how my voice becomes clean text everywhere on my computer.

On August 5 they dropped Notetaker, their first product beyond dictation. And they built it different: no bot joins your call. It listens to the system audio on your Mac, so Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, even Slack huddles just work. You get a live transcript while you talk, then it cleans everything up, pulls out the action items, decisions, and dates, and lets you ask AI questions across every meeting you've ever had.

For creators, this is lowkey an idea bank. Collab calls, client calls, podcast recordings, planning sessions with your editor... the gold you say out loud stops disappearing when the call ends. It even has MCP support, so you can pipe those notes straight into Claude or ChatGPT and turn Tuesday's brainstorm into Friday's content.

It's Mac only right now (Windows is on the way), it's a v1, and just bc no bot pops up in the meeting doesn't mean you skip telling people you're recording. Move like a professional. But it's included in the free plan... which is wild when the other notetakers charge for less.

So you already know you have to email me back about your biggest takeaway from this week's Content Corner. Take a screenshot and tag me in your stories (or Threads/Substack) so I know you liked this week's content. If not, I'll see you next Friday. Same time, same corner.

I'll Holla,

Nicky S
