π° What's Poppin
Let me ask you a question. Have you been a victim of the new model no-credit scheme? Where a new AI model pops up and you try it, and it wastes all your credits and tokens?
Because you know I have lol, especially when it comes to AI videos. The reason I'm bringing this up is because Seedance 2.5 came out and everybody's talking about it, and everybody's using it, but no one is counting the cost.
Now, I'm not saying don't try it out, but there are some tips on how to help you save credits before going from idea to video.
π₯οΈ Never Go Straight To Video
πΉ Step 1: Figure out the story first. This step doesnβt care what model you use. Beginning, middle, payoff, one sentence, before you generate anything.
πΉ Step 2: Create the images first. Build the images that tell the story frame by frame (storyboard), then animate. Doesnβt matter if itβs the newest model or the one from six months ago, this step is what saves your credits. With Seedance 2.5, all you need is a storyboard, and it will turn it into a complete video. Here is an example of a storyboard
πΉ Step 3: Build a prompt skill, donβt guess a prompt. Reverse engineer what worked, save it, and carry that structure into every new model that drops after this one.
I'm actually going to be giving the skill that I use to prompt all my AI videos with inside Lions Behavior if you want a shortcut.
This three-step process has saved me so many credits and I hope it does the same for you. Now, what are you going to create this weekend.
π AI Alley
While most who talk about AI are focusing on ChatGPT's latest models...nobody's talking about its plugins, and that's actually the more slept on thing right now.
Here's the part people miss: a ChatGPT plugin isn't one feature. It's a package. It can hold reusable skills, it can connect to an app you already use through something called MCP, or both at the same time. It's the plugin skills and the MCPs living inside the plugin that's doing the actual work, not just "ChatGPT can now do X." Once you connect the apps you're already living in, you stop copying and pasting between ten tabs and it turns into one workflow and conversation.
Now, it's not plug-and-play magic. You still have to tell it exactly what you want but once it's connected, it stays connected.
Here's what's in my corner right now:
πΉ Higgsfield AI - my video and image generation, straight from the chat
πΉ Computer use - it actually clicks and types on your screen for you, not just talks about it
πΉ Google Drive - pulls my files into the conversation, no downloading, no re-uploading
πΉ Notion - reads and writes my pages and databases without me leaving the chat
πΉ Gmail - drafts and searches my email right there in the conversation
πΉ Google Calendar β checks and books my availability without switching tabs
πΉ HeyGen β my AI avatar videos, one prompt away
πΉ Hyperframes β builds programmable video straight from HTML, this one's slept on for creators
πΉ Record and Play β the most slept on of all nine. You record yourself doing something once, and it replays those exact steps for you every time after. That's automation you didn't have to code.
Reply and tell me which of these nine you're grabbing first. I read every single one.
