Something major happened this week. I hit 50,000 subscribers on my live, so of course I got to tell you the formula of how I got there.
And know it wasn't by posting a whole bunch of shorts and long-form videos in just hopes that it would work. Because I already made that mistake on my first channel.
My first channel was a podcast channel, and with over 1,000 videos on that channel, sometimes it was hard to break 100 views. On this channel, I definitely wanted to do things differently.
Reaching 50,000 subscribers in two years wasn't luck. I've been optimizing two things people see before they even commit, which is thumbnails and titles. I also started treating long-form content like a content machine. Lets me break it down:
Hereβs the P.A.C.E.R. method... the exact routine that got me to 50K and can scale what you do next:
P Packaging (Thumbnail + Title)
- Thumbnail = first impression. Use ThumbMagic or Nano Banana to prototype 5 variations fast.
- Title = promise + clarity. Feed past wins into Poppy AI (created a YouTube system with this AI) to generate title options; pick the one that communicates topic + benefit in 6-10 words.
- Action: Create an A/B test folder: 3 thumbnail options + 3 title options per video. Test CTR.
A Analytics (Measure what matters)
- Focus metrics: Click Through Rate, Average % View, Audience Retention (watch minute graph), and Audience β device (TV vs mobile).
- Use ChatGPT New web browser, Atlas, and turn it on Agent Mode so it can analyze your analytics for you and tell you next steps.
- Action: Every week export analytics, run it through an AI , and get 3 prioritized suggestions (change thumbnail, shorten hook, add chapter).
C Convert (Turn long form into money)
- Live β Replay β Short: Do the long live, then release a trimmed replay (45β60 min) and multiple short clips.
- Monetize: ads increase with watch time; add affiliate links for tools/clothing mentioned in descriptions.
- Action: After each long stream: schedule a trimmed replay, create 6-10 short clips with tools like Opus Clipβ
E Editing for the Environment (Make it TV & mobile friendly)
- Analytics showed lots of TV viewers: pacing matters. Slow edits and longer sections can work for TV; quick cuts and captions for phones.
- Action: Produce two master content styles: a βTV-friendlyβ cut (longer scenes, fewer jump cuts) and a βsocialβ cut (faster pace for those watching on their phones).
R Repurpose & Repeat (Systemize republishing)
- Treat each long-form session as a factory: outlines β publish β clip β infographic β carousel β newsletter.
- Use AI to accelerate: ChatGPT for clip scripts; Opus Clip for auto-clips; Poppy AI for infographics.
- Action: Build a repurpose checklist you follow within 48 hours of publishing (replay, 10 clips, 3 shorts, infographics).
You donβt need to be everywhere. You need to be strategic where you show up. Focus on packaging, measure with analytics, convert long form into many short, and systemize repurposing. Do that for 30 days and your channel will stop guessing and start growing.
And if you missed the last Content Corner live, here is the replay. This is exactly the strategy I just spoke about.

π AI Alley
With everyone caring about Google Gemini, it looks like ChatGPT came out with a new model, ChatGPT 5.2. I feel like with every upgrade, when it comes to those numbers (5.1, 5.2, 5.3), everything is always going to sound like better reasoning, coding, longer context understanding. It always makes me think about those Apple events where it's always saying "bigger, better battery". It sounds all the same sometimes.
However, to break it down, OpenAI has three main variants:
- GPT-5.2 Instant β Fast, versatile, and great for everyday tasks like writing, research, and translations.
- GPT-5.2 Thinking β Deeper reasoning for complex work such as technical writing, math, data work, spreadsheets, and planning.
- GPT-5.2 Pro β Highest quality for professional or research-grade answers where correctness really matters.
I'm still testing it out, so give me another week to really give my perspective on it. Or maybe Monday's live show. Do you have it? Reply back and let me know.
