Let's address the elephant in the room...most content looks and sounds THE SAME. It's like everyone's following the same playbook, and then wondering why they're not getting results.
I just watched this FIRE interview between Omar El-Takrori and Neel Dhingra about the biggest mistakes content creators make. So you know I have to break it down. Lets start with quote:

The Generic Content Trap
The biggest mistake creators make is trying to reach EVERYONE. This leads to:
- Content that sounds like everybody else
- No clear point of view or perspective
- Blending in instead of standing out
- Speaking to nobody by trying to speak to everybody

The Three-Step Anti-Generic Strategy
Here's the framework they broke down that actually works:
Pick A Specific Audience
- Who do you ACTUALLY want to talk to?
- What specific problems do they have?
- What language do they use to describe those problems?
For me I recently just figured this out. I speak to intoverts and overlooked creators about content strategies and tools. Those who struggle with:
- Content Overwhelm
- Consistency
- Undefined Brand & Niche
- Algorithm Anxiety
- Camera Shyness
- Being Their Worst Critic
And example of the languge they would use is "Did IG just tank my reach again or is it just me?"

Develop a Unique Point of View
- What do you believe that's different from others?
- What's a take that you're afraid to say online?
- Where do you disagree with common industry advice?

Inject Your Personality
- Share your values, faith, family, interests
- Let people know the real you
- Create connections beyond just information
When you incorporate these elements, you transform from "random creator" to "someone I feel like I know."
