๐Ÿ“ฐ Corner Newsstand

So here's what I'm trying to figure out: how do you stand out when it seems like everybody's doing the exact same thing in your niche? Because I was watching this video about how Steve Jobs tells some of the best stories, and it made me realize something that's going to change how you create content forever.

I had this moment where I'm looking at my field and I'm like... everybody's talking about the same AI tools, everybody's giving the same content strategies. And I'm realizing, in order to stand out, you can't just be one of many. You've got to be one of one.

And the way that happens? It's not about the next tip, the next trend, the latest news, or the newest dance. It's about how we shift the culture with our stories, with our narratives.

Which mean we have to become storytellers. So I decided to test this out, and let me break down exactly what I learned from studying how Steve Jobs did it. There are five specific techniques he used that you can apply to your content right now to see results:

First, I tested this on Threads to get proof. I used this exact formula talking about the influencer who got arrested, Finesse. This became one of my most engaging posts in a minute. All because I followed this structure.

So lets break down this Steve Jobs Formula (watch the video for the story):

Technique 1: The Anticipation Hook

Steve would start with a bold statement that made you curious immediately. Like when he said, "Most people don't get those experiences because they never ask."

You hear that and you're like, "Wait, what experiences? What do you mean they never ask?" That's the hook, it creates instant curiosity.

Technique 2: Jump Into Action

He didn't waste time with backstory. He jumped right into the main action. "I called up Bill Hewlett when I was 12 years old." Boom. We're in the story immediately.

For your content, this means no fluff. Get to the point. Start with movement, with something happening.

Technique 3: The Surprise Element

Then he'd share something unexpected. "His number was still in the phone book, and he answered the phone himself."

We're like, "What?! The founder of Hewlett-Packard just picked up like that?" That surprise keeps us locked in.

Technique 4: Use Dialogue

Steve didn't just tell us what happened - he gave us the exact words. "He goes, 'Yes?' I said, 'Hi, I'm Steve Jobs. I'm 12 years old...'"

This makes us feel like we're right there with him. For your content, don't just say "I talked to someone." Give us the actual conversation.

Technique 5: The Takeaway

Here's the key - he made it about the audience. "That's what separates the people who do things from the people that just dream about them."

And that's when it hit me: a story evokes feelings, evokes memories. It's not just "do this, do that, watch this, watch that." It burns something into somebody's mind that they can relate to. Meaning I want you to feel and remember my content over the 1,000 pieces of content you will see.

So for us to master storytelling, this is the format we should be practicing for our content:

  1. Start with an anticipation hook - Make a bold statement that creates curiosity
  2. Jump into action immediately - No backstory, get to the movement
  3. Include a surprise element - Something unexpected that breaks the pattern
  4. Use actual dialogue - Give us the real words, make us feel like we're there
  5. End with a takeaway - Make it relevant to your audience's life

Because let be real, there are a whole bunch of people in your niche doing the same type of content. But storytelling? That's how you become unforgettable.

Stories don't just inform, they transform. They make people feel something. And when people feel something, they remember you.

Are you applying storytelling to your content? Because that needs to be part of your arsenal. It doesn't have to be the only thing, but it definitely has to be part of it.

Start with one story this week. Use these five techniques. Watch how differently people respond to your content.

You're not just creating content, you're shifting culture.

๐ŸŒ† AI Alley

AI Avatars are taking over the timelines. While VEO 3 is what everyone is talking about.... not many are trying to pay over $200 a month for it.

Now I have been creating some fire AI content with HeyGen and even clowned myself. If you are interested in faceless content or just scaling your content in general, watch my video on how to create your own AI Avatar.

New ChatGPT Feature

While everyone's still typing long prompts into ChatGPT, I just discovered a hidden button that's about to make you feel like you have a personal assistant sitting right next to you.

I'm on my desktop version of ChatGPT, and I notice this little "Record Mode" button on the bottom left that wasn't there before. Y'all know I'm always testing new features, so I'm like... let me see what this does.

Turns out, ChatGPT can now record, transcribe, AND summarize everything automatically. No more typing out "Hey, give me some content ideas based off what I'm about to tell you" - it just knows.

So I tested it. Instead of writing a whole prompt about brainstorming, I just hit record and started talking through my ideas out loud. Within seconds, it gave me a clean summary and actionable next steps.

If you have the desktop app, look for that Record Mode button. Start using it for your brainstorming sessions instead of typing everything out.

Because while everyone else is still writing paragraphs to get good outputs, you're just going to talk and get better results faster.
