AI just proved that your natural talents can break into any industry, even if you can't do everything traditionally required. This AI artist just showed us how to use AI as your creative partner instead of your replacement.
So I'm watching this Gayle King interview with the creator behind AI artist Xania Monet, right? And she drops a bomb that made me screenshot everything.
Gayle asks, "Are you writing the lyrics or is that AI too?"
Telisha "Nikki" Jones said, "No, lyrics are 100% me."
Gayle King: " But you can't sing"
Here's what blew my mind: this woman (Telisha Jones) made millions in the music industry without being able to sing. She found her natural talent (writing lyrics), identified the industry she wanted to break into (music), and used AI (Suno) to handle what she couldn't do naturally.
She wasn't replacing her creativity with AI. She was amplifying her natural gift using AI tools.
Here's the T.A.L.E.N.T. Method to break into any industry using AI:
T - Take Inventory of Your Natural Giftsโ
What comes naturally to you? Writing? Storytelling? Visual concepts? Business strategy? Don't focus on what you can't do...focus on what you do naturally.
A - Analyze Your Target Industryโ
What industry do you want to break into? Music? Film? Fashion? Business? Study what skills are traditionally required vs. what you actually bring to the table.
L - Leverage AI for Your Gapsโ
Match AI tools to fill what you can't do naturally:
- Writing/Brainstorming: ChatGPT for ideation and content development
- Writing/Editing: Claude for polished, professional writing
- Music Creation: Suno or Udio for melodies, and beats.
- Video Creation: Veo 3.1 or Sora for professional video content
- Visual Art: Midjourney, Nano Banana for stunning visuals
E - Execute Your Unique Combinationโ
Combine your natural talent + AI capabilities = your unique market position
N - Navigate the New Landscapeโ
Understand that industries are changing. Traditional gatekeepers matter less when you can create professional-quality work with AI assistance.
T - Test and Iterateโ
Start creating, get feedback, improve your process. Your natural talent + AI tools + audience feedback = your winning formula.
While everyone else is worried about AI replacing them, you could be using AI to amplify what you're already good at and break into industries that seemed impossible before.
