π° What's Poppin
In one of my speaking gigs, I asked the room one question: "Raise your hand if you think consistency means posting every single day."
Almost every hand went up. Then half of them came back down because they knew they weren't doing it.
And to be honest, I used to be one of those hands.
I spent a long stretch trying to be always on, posting every single day, which I thought the timeline rewards. Posting every day is a performance energy I don't necessarily have. Every few weeks, the whole thing would collapse, and I called myself inconsistent, lazy, even.
But that was never really the problem. The real problem was I was trying to be something that I'm naturally not. I was trying to be an extrovert online when that's not who I am. I wasn't failing at inconsistency. I was failing at leaning in to how I naturally create.
Here's the shift I had to make: consistency is not a frequency, it's a promise.
Think about your favorite sitcom or show. It showed up once a week, and you were religious about it. Whole communities built around a single weekly promise because they chose quality over quantity and never broke the appointment. Your audience doesn't need you daily. They need you to be reliable.
And I already know this is the opposite of what most people tell you who are teaching you how to be successful online. But also look at those people who are telling you to post every single day on multiple platforms. They have teams of five to 15 people. So you're comparing apples to oranges.
Before I give you the system, I need you to answer one question honestly. It's the question that whole thing is built on.
It's 3:47 in the morning. I wake you up cold, still in your eye. I hand you a camera, a mic, and a notebook. Which one do you reach for? Your answer is your natural format. Let me break it down:
π₯οΈ The One-Promise Week
πΉ Step 1: Take the 3:47 AM test.
Video, audio, written, or photo ...whichever youβd reach for half-asleep is your home base. Build everything from your natural format, not the format the algorithm is loud about this month.
πΉ Step 2: Make ONE promise.
Pick a cadence you can keep on your worst week: once or twice. Say it out loud to your audience. That promise is your consistency now. Sitcom energy.
πΉ Step 3: Create only 1β2x this week.
Your best video, your best quote, your best photo. Thatβs it. The pressure of daily creation is officially off you.
πΉ Step 4: Strategize the other days.
Repost something trending in your niche and add your take...thatβs a post. React or remix...thatβs a post. Re-run something from 2β3 months ago that your analytics say worked...thatβs a post. Youβre not creating daily. Youβre curating like a strategist.
πΉ Step 5: Let the data climb the ladder.
Drop the idea as a text post first. Whatever wins becomes a short. If the short wins, it becomes a long-form video. Second place goes in your newsletter. You never guess what to make next. The data already told you.
Run this for one week and notice what happens to your energy. The creators who last aren't the loudest ones. They're the ones who keep the promise.

So: what's your 3:47 AM answer?
π AI Alley
Claude Fable 5: the most powerful Claude yet.
Anthropic just released Claude Fable 5, their strongest model ever made public. It can run for days inside an agent setup, plan in stages, check its own work, and it built a playable video game from a single prompt. It holds a 1M-token context window, which means it can read your entire year of transcripts in one sitting.
But hereβs the part nobody puts in the headline: itβs expensive. $10 per million input tokens, $50 per million output, double the price of Claude Opus. On a subscription, it burns your usage limits noticeably faster. It just happened to me a few hours ago.
So be wise with it. Where Fable 5 actually earns its cost for creators:
πΉ Feed it your whole content library + analytics and ask what your top 10% of videos have in common
πΉ Have it design your repurposing system once, then run that system daily on cheaper models
πΉ The big quarterly calls: content audits, positioning, which pillar to cut
Where itβs a waste: captions, single posts, quick rewrites. Use Claude Sonnet for volume work. Match the model to the moment..strategy gets the expensive brain, reps get the cheap one.
