π° What's Poppin
OpenAI dropped something, and you already know I had to try it even when I'm traveling
So I uploaded my lion logo, typed one prompt, and hit enter.
A few seconds later... my logo is moving.
Here's what dropped. On November 4, OpenAI released ChatGPT Images 2.6, and the headline is GIFs. You can turn a prompt or an image into an animated GIF, adjust the speed, and edit individual frames right inside ChatGPT. It also lets you save reference images of yourself, your pets, or your characters so you're not uploading the same photo every single time.
Now, can I be honest?
This is the part where most people make a dancing cat and call it a day.
And that's fine. Have fun.
But I'm looking at this as a brand person. Because here's the thing... still images get scrolled past. Movement stops the thumb. And until this week, movement cost money, time, or a designer you didn't have.
Now it costs one prompt.
Here's what I realized: you don't need a hundred GIFs. You need three that people start to recognize as YOU. Let me break it down:
π₯οΈ The 3-Loop Brand Kit
πΉ Loop 1: Your signature loop. Your logo or your name, moving ONE simple way. A pulse, a light sweep, a build-in. This goes everywhere: your newsletter header, your website, the end of your videos.
πΉ Loop 2: Your reaction loop. You (or your character) doing the thing you always do. The face, the nod, the "told y'all." Save yourself as a reference image once and reuse it. This is your reply in the comments and the DMs.
πΉ Loop 3: Your offer loop. Your product, your course cover, your event flyer, moving just enough to catch the eye. This is the one that goes in your story right before the link.
πΉ Then lock the system. Same colors, same motion style, same speed every time. That's how it becomes a signature and not a gimmick.
It's brand new, and AI loves to "improve" things you didn't ask it to touch. Check every frame. If a letter in your name or logo warps on one frame, fix that frame before you share it.
So which GIF are you making first? Email me back with it
π AI Alley
That GIF that I made for Lions Behavior, let me show you how I did it
Open ChatGPT, upload your logo, and paste this:
Turn my uploaded logo into a short looping GIF for my brand.
Keep the logo exactly as it is: same shape, same colors, same spelling. Do not redraw it or add anything to it.
Motion: [pick ONE: a slow pulse / a light sweep across it / it builds in piece by piece / a small bounce]
Background: a solid [brand color, like #000000]
Brand vibe: [3 words, like bold, warm, clean]
Make the last frame flow back into the first so it loops smooth. Keep it simple and readable at small sizes.
When you're done, show me the frames so I can fix any that drift.
No logo yet? Swap the first two lines for this: "Spell out my name, [YOUR NAME], in [bold / handwritten / retro] lettering and animate it into a short looping GIF. Check the spelling in every frame."
Tip: pick ONE motion. Ask for five and it turns into AI slop real quick.
