Let me hit you with a number: 87% of creators now use AI in their workflow.
The average creator saves 3 hours per piece of content. Sounds great, right? But here's what I keep seeing that nobody's talking about:
Most creators are using AI to do more. Not to do better.
They're generating 10 captions instead of 2. Creating 20 thumbnail variations instead of 5. Chopping every long video into 15 shorts instead of the 3 that actually matter.
Not even posting half of the content that they created, and then they're wondering why they're still burned out.
Can I be transparent? I almost fell into this trap too.
When I first started using Claude seriously, I was excited about volume. I could draft a week of content in an afternoon. I could brainstorm 50 ideas before lunch. But more ideas didn't mean better content.
More drafts didn't mean more connection with my audience.
The shift happened when I stopped asking AI "what should I post?" and started asking AI "what's actually working, and how do I do more of that?"
That's the difference between using AI for volume and using AI for systems.
Volume approach:
β Generate more content faster
β Fill every slot on the calendar
β Measure success by output
β Result: more noise, same engagement
Systems approach:
β Use AI to analyze what's performing (patterns, not guesses)
β Use AI to repurpose your best content into different formats
β Use AI to handle the admin β scheduling, research, organization
β Use YOUR time for the one thing AI literally cannot do: being you
The creators who are winning right now aren't the ones who produce the most content. They're the ones with the best systems behind their content.
You only need 3-4 tools. You need one good system. And you need to protect the thing that makes your content yours ...your perspective, your face, your voice.
Everything else can be systematized.
The Framework: The Systems-First AI Audit
- List every AI tool youβre currently paying for. If itβs more than 4, youβre probably overlapping.
- For each tool, ask: Is this helping me create more, or create better? Cut anything thatβs just adding volume.
- Identify your one bottleneck. The thing that slows you down every week. Thatβs where AI should go first.
- Build the system before you build the content. A good system produces content on autopilot. Good content without a system produces burnout.
Don't worry, I got a prompt for you to help you be Systems-First and if this prompt adds value, we give prompts like this every week inside of Lions Behavior. Email me back what you think about the results:
I want to stop using AI for volume and start using it for systems. Before we do anything, ask me these questions one at a time. Wait for my answer before moving to the next one.
1. What AI tools are you currently paying for or using regularly? List all of them.
2. For each tool you listed, what specific task does it help you with?
3. What is the ONE thing in your content workflow that slows you down every single week? Not multiple things. The biggest one.
4. What content have you made in the last 30-60 days that performed the best? How do you know it performed well?
5. Right now, are you using AI to create more content, or to make your best content show up in more places?
Once I answer all five questions, do the following:
First, identify which of my tools are doing the same job and flag the overlap. Tell me which ones I can cut.
Second, build me a simple repeatable system around my ONE bottleneck. Not a list of tips. A system with steps I can run on autopilot.
Third, take whatever I told you performed best and show me 3 ways to repurpose it into different formats without starting from scratch.
β
Do not give me more ideas. Do not give me a bigger content calendar. Give me a tighter system with fewer moving parts.
My goal is to protect my time, my voice, and my perspective. Everything else gets systematized.

The 5-Tool Stack I'd Start With Today
If I were building my creator stack from scratch in April 2026:
βClaude β Strategy, writing, system-building, and now vibe coding. This is where I spend most of my time. From having the actual conversation, to scheduling content out, to building workflows I can run on autopilot. Everything starts here.
βNotion β My second brain. Everything lives here. Databases, content pipelines, calendars, client work. And they just added AI meeting notes and AI image generation right inside the platform. It keeps getting better.
βHiggsfield / HeyGen β These two are tied and I'm putting them together on purpose. Higgsfield with SeeDance 2.0 just changed the game for cinematic AI video. HeyGen handles the avatar and talking head side. Together, these two are how I plan to scale visual content to a level I couldn't touch before.
βPoppy AI β I've been rocking with Poppy forever. The copy-paste into my content workflows is seamless in a way that most tools aren't. AND they recently switched from annual to monthly pricing at $49/month.
Total: ~$70-80/month, depending on tiers and it runs your entire operation. What about you?
